“The 21st century is the era of Asia” is what people around the world have been saying recently.
Asian countries now occupy important positions of the world, achieving rapid growth through exchanges of technologies and information using various means. From now on, in the midst of the world’s evolution towards a global society, countries will feel more borderless, while clearly and attractively expressing their different characteristics. With Asian countries developing a deeper understanding of the factors that are common or different among them, the friendly relations among the countries should become even stronger.
We welcome our fellow lighting designers from all over Asia to attend the Talk Session in November 2012, in Tokyo, where we will delve further into the universality and regionality of lights in urban life and culture in general, from the lighting designer’s perspective.
